At a plenary session on Friday, the Ukrainian parliament sent to the Prosecutor General's Office an interpellation on whether or not Yevgeni Marchuk, secretary of the National Security Council, People's Deputy Andrei Derkach and Leonid Derkach, former chairman of the Ukrainian security service, have to do with illegal arms trade. The paper includes a requirement to set up an operative group of investigators from the Prosecutor General's Office and the security service. In recent time some media bodies carried materials with photo copies of certain documents showing the involvement of some officials in the illegal arms trade. These publications served as the pretext for the interpellation sent.
