Israeli troops detain 2 men trying to trespass border
Two men trying to infiltrate Israel across the Lebanese border got under fire attack, one, who was carrying a bag of illicit drugs, slightly injured.
The other man fled back to Lebanon, the military said. The wounded man - a Lebanese citizen - was shot in the leg, treated by troops at the scene, then transferred to a medical facility for further treatment, it added.
The incident took place in Ghajar, a town divided by the Israel-Lebanon border.
No further details were immediately available about the men or the drugs reported in the wounded man's possession.
