Russian President's spouse Lyudmila Putin will visit Yerevan on May 12-13 at an invitation from Armenian President's wife Bella Kocharayn, the press service of the Russian President told RIA Novosti.
The wife of the Russian President will participate in the awards presentation ceremony of the 2nd international contest "Russia and the Russian Language in My Life". It was held among schoolchildren of the CIS and Baltic states. 22 winners in six categories will have an opportunity to enter Russia's humanitarian universities.
In addition, Lyudmila Putin and Bella Kocharyan are scheduled to visit Armenian historic and cultural centres, including the National Picture Gallery, the house-museum of film director Sergei Paradzhanov, Matenadaran, the depository of ancient manuscripts and the Pushkin school in Yerevan with profound study of the Russian language.
