272,000 decaliters of cognac, 6.31m decaliters of vodka and 1.80 decaliters of wine were produced in Moscow over the first three quarters of 2000, officials of the science and industrial policy department of the Moscow city administration reported to RBC. Volumes of cognac production went up 121.9%, vodka - 124% and wine -101.7% compared to the similar period of time in 1999. 94% of the increase of vodka production was due to the Moscow factory Cristall. As for the volume of production of low-alcohol beverages in the city, it increased 42% since January, 2000. The production champagne and non-alcohol beverages dropped.
