Alfa-Bank is working out a new concept for its retail operations, Yevgeny Bernshtam, first deputy chairman of the Alfa-Bank Executive Board, said at the conference 'Securities Market Forum: Corporate Development.' According to him, the concept will be orientated to individuals with above-average incomes. The main products will be deposits, credit cards, consumer loans, insurance and asset management. The concept provides for founding a network of the bank's offices of a new type. At the first stage it is planned to open such offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Kiev, and offices in other regions will appear during the second stage. According to Bernshtam, in total, it is planned to build a network of 300 offices within 2-3 years, of which 100 will be located in Moscow, and 20 will be located in Ukraine. Additionally, the concept covers questions of staff training and sales methods. Alfa-Bank currently has 65 offices in Russia and CIS countries.
