Technical Matters Related To Reduction Of Russian Oil Export From 1 January Of The Next Year Are Settled

Stanislav Naumov, press secretary of Viktor Khristenko, vice-premier of the Russian government, reported to journalists that on Monday the meeting of the commission of the Russian government on matters of use of the system of trunk oil and gas pipelines under the chairmanship of Viktor Khristenko adopted decisions on all technical matters required to reduce the Russian oil export volume agreed by the government and Russian oil companies to become effective from 1 January next year. Last week the meeting chaired by prime-minister Mikhail Kasyanov decided to bring the Russian oil export reduction figure to 150,000 barrels per day starting from 1 January next year.
