Polish Premier Leszek Miller is concerned about huge misbalance in trade and economic relations of Russia and Poland, and intends to raise this question at an upcoming meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Miller declared this in an interview with journalists after meeting with Federation Council Chairman Sergey Mironov. According to the Polish Premier, the volume of Russia's exports to Poland reaches $4bn, and than of Polish to Russia - $800m. "We need to reduce or even do away with this deficit," Miller thinks. In his opinion, Polish capital should become more active on the Russian market, including the investment market. The governments of the two countries should take more active measures to support this process. All these problems will be discussed at an upcoming meeting with Vladimir Putin. International matters will be discussed as well then. Miller stressed that the government of Poland supports Putin's policies. At the same time, Federation Council Speaker Sergey Mironov emphasized that Russian-Polish relations had received a positive impulse recently.
