Central Bank Fixes Official US Dollar Rate - 21 December, 2001

The official rate of the US dollar has decreased by 0.18 rouble per dollar against the previously set level. Effective December 22, 2001 the official rate of the US dollar, fixed by the Central Bank, amounts to 30.08 roubles per dollar, having decreased by 0.18 roubles against the previously set level, reported the foreign and public relations department of the Bank of Russia. The rate of the euro amounts to 27.00 roubles per euro as of December 22, 2001, having decreased by 0.19 rouble against the previously set level.
