Russian Defence Minister Meets With National Military Fund Leaders

At this moment, Moscow hosts a meeting between Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexis II, who heads the Board of Trustees at the All-Russia National Military Fund /NMF/, and NMF leaders. Among those attending is Nikolai Patrushev, the chief of the Federal Security Service. According to the patriarch, "The primary task of the NMF is to provide housing for the families of those who sacrificed their lives while fighting in the 'hot spots' and of those who were wounded there." This is the task the Russian president set before the Fund, he reminded.
