Establishment Of Urals Tank Holding Agreed With Russia's Defence Ministry

Russia's Defence Ministry has given its official consent to setting up a "tank holding", so-called, in the southern Urals region of Sverdlovsk, regional governor Eduard Rossel said on Wednesday, according to this correspondent. It is planned to include in the holding Uralvagonzavod, Uraltransmash, a plant producing industrial rubber goods, and a number of other enterprises. The regional head of administration also said that several more large defence holdings will be created in the central Urals.
