New powerful earthquake rocks Indonesia

A &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/2001/01/15/2005.html ' target=_blank>powerful earthquake jolted parts of the Indonesian island of &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/2000/11/29/1195.html ' target=_blank>Sumatra at midday Saturday, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or structural damage, officials said.

The quake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale rocked parts of Sumatra at about 12:05 p.m. (0505 GMT), said Budiwaluyo, an official at Jakarta's National Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BGM).
