Lebanese Ambassador To Moscow Discusses Situation In Middle East

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov and the Lebanese Ambassador to Moscow Boutros Assaker discussed, in particualr, the situation in the Middle East, the necessity to overcome the crisis, stabilize the situation and to resume the peace process, the press and information department of the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday. "It is very important to stop the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation, resume the political process and to start a practical implementation of the recommendations of George Mitchell's commission," Alexander Saltanov said.
