13 Russian sailors saved in the Sea of Japan

On the 21st of November a Russian ship "Fest" was caught in the storm. After the roll of 15 degrees had occurred, SOS signals were aired.

As a result of the roll, water run into the engine room, shutting the main engine off. Another Russian vessel "Fedor Popov" received the SOS signals and came to help.

The help was especially difficult because of furious weather: waves of above 6 meters in height, wind blows of 20 meters per second. As a result, 13 sailors were saved from "Fest".

At the present time, the roll of "Fest" is at the critical point of 60 degrees, but the ship is still drifting.
