Inflation reached 0.1 percent in Russia from August 1 to 19, 2002, theState Statistics Committee reported. However, consumer prices remainedunchanged from August 13 to 19. The average daily rise in consumer pricesin the first 19 days of August was 0.004 percent as compared to 0 percentin August 2001 and 0.023 percent in July 2002.
