Poroshenko blames Russia for recent riots in Kiev

Ukrainian President Petro Porosheno found the reason for the dramatic events that unfolded on the last day of August near the Ukrainian Parliament, Verkhovna Rada, in Kiev. According to the Ukrainian president, it was Russia that helped "ultra-right groups" organize the rally on Kiev's landmark square.

The clashes began when people took to the streets to express their protest against draft amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution. The protest claimed the lives of three military men of the National Guard. Yet, Poroshenko believes that it was another step in the Kremlin's campaign to destabilize Kiev.
