Dogs Can Hit Cars Too

A rottweiler dog is on trial at a court of the town of Kovrov, the Vladimir region of Russia. The dog’s owner is a student of the local technical school. The young man was crossing a road with his dog. The dog got very excited for some reason and ran into the oncoming traffic. It happened very quickly, so the man did not have the time to hold the dog's lead tight in his hand.

The rottweiler bumped into a Zhiguly car. Luckily, the dog was not injured, although it bent the bumber of the car, cracked its headlight, and some paint peeled. The Zhiguly driver managed to stop his car only in 200 meters. He came up to the young man and told him to pay for the repairs. Later, the car’s owner determined that the dog damaged his car in the sum of twelve thousand rubles (about $400). Police officers confirmed that the dog owner was guilty of the incident. They told the guy that he should have held the lead tight.
