Russians consider the US policy hostile, and the elections outcome does not matter

The Trud newspaper conducted online public opinion poll of its readers.
They were asked “which  outcome of the Presidential elections in the USA will be the most favorable for Russia”.

48.18% of the respondents believe that “no matter what the US elections outcome will be, the US policy towards Russia will be hostile”. 15.5 % of the respondents think that “the US policy depends not on the President’s personality, but on the current political situation”. 12. 73% percent of the respondents say that the victory of John Kerry can be better for Russia, as Mr. Kerry will stop the aggressive policy of the state.
 
10.91% of Russians support George Bush and believe that “the victory of the Republican candidate George Bush will mean stability, there is no guarantee that a new President will be better. 4.24% of the respondents believe that “the US foreign policy produces little effect on Russia’s life, so I do not care about the US elections”.
