Indonesia: Bali Blast Suspect Arrested? - 16 October, 2002

Indonesian authorities refuse to confirm or deny an information reported by Australian media - that a former Air Force officer confessed to preparing the bomb, which killed almost 200 in Bali last Saturday. It's been reported that the Indonesian police arrested at least two suspects so far.

Korean newspaper Korean Tempo claims today that the Bali bombing was the work of 8 terrorists using two vans - one packed with explosives, the other one used as a getaway car.

The Australian government announced today a reward of USD 1,000,000 for any information leading to the capture of Bali bombers.
