The Nigeria goalkeeper saw his team leave the stadium 3-2 ahead. In the other games, Basel and Braga got home wins; Partizan Belgrade drew at home to Anderlecht.
Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama (3’, pen), Sahar (44’) and Shechter (53’) fired Tel Aviv’s three goals in Vienna but Pokrivac (28’) and Wallner (67’) pulled two back for the Austrian side.
