The 28-year-old German woman has strangled her newborn girl and put her into a sandbox on a playground. A witness to the crime revealed bloodcurdling details of the crime during a court session.

The 28-year-old Sandra K. is the mother of three. She is a resident of the town of Tubengen, in a state of Baden-Wurttemberg, Southwestern Germany. Sandra was pregnant with her fourth child.

Her friends were under the impression that she and her husband were going to split up.

Speaking to the German tabloid Bild, Karin C., a friend of Sandra’s, said that even before giving birth to her child the defendant had made it quite clear that her upcoming offspring was not welcome. “We talked adoption and crib, but she didn’t like the idea,” said Karen.

Sandra walked into the garden next to her parents’ home as her labor began. She gave birth to a baby girl in that garden.

During her testimony in court, Karen said: “She kept squeezing the girl’s shoulders until the baby stopped breathing.”

Then the alleged murderer wrapped the dead body in a yellow garbage bag, put it in a duffel bag and buried it in a sandbox on a playground. Sandra’s other children regularly played in that sandbox.

Her children were frolicking in the sandbox on the following day.

According to the police, Sandra and her girlfriend later moved the body into the basement. Two years after the crime, Sandra’s partner discovered the remains of the girl. The DNA test showed that the remains used to be Sandra’s daughter. The defendant is pregnant again at the moment. She cooperates with the prosecution. The trial is still under way.
