Madonna considers plastic surgery, fights gay rumours and goes on tour

Pop star Madonna admits that she has been thinking about visiting a plastic surgeon in an attempt to fight the biological clock. Madonna, 47, adds she would of course keep it a secret even if she makes such a decision.

“I think about it, like everybody, and I don't rule it out. 'But I am not going to hold a press conference if I have plastic surgery,” Madonna was quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying.

However, with the release of her hugely successful new album Confessions on a Dancefloor, Madonna proudly presented her gorgeous and athletic body during her live performances and in Hung Up and Sorry videos. Needless to say that many women half the superstar’s age dream to look like Madonna – fresh, beautiful, healthy and sexy. At age 47 Madonna can easily do the splits or put her foot behind her head.

According to The Sun, exercise addict Madonna works out for three hours a day – choosing a variety of alternative methods to the traditional pounding of the treadmill. Alongside her low fat and high fibre vegetarian diet, the sexy star goes horseriding, is a Ashtanga yoga expert and is a fan of the Vibrogym craze.

In the meantime, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes has been showing more and more interest in the wild and raunchy past of her phenomenal mommy.

"Lourdes is really obsessed with who is gay," Madonna says in Out magazine's April issue. "And she even asked, 'Mom, you know they say that you are gay?' And I'm, 'Oh, do they? Why?' And she says, 'Because you kissed Britney Spears.’ "And I said, 'No, it just means I kissed Britney Spears. I am the mommy pop star and she is the baby pop star. And I am kissing her to pass my energy on to her."

Madonna’s kiss with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera became the key and the most exciting moment of the MTV Music Awards 2003. Most likely, that was the only ‘gay moment’ that Madonna experienced during the recent years of her life. However, one of the most widely known homosexual musicians, Sir Elton John, continues to criticize Madonna. The British musician, now a family man, had earlier slammed Madonna for lip-synching on stage. To add more fuel to the fire John called Madonna “a miserable cow” when she had not accepted the invitation to be a guest of his wedding.

"He did send me a letter apologising for his last outburst, right before his wedding," Contactmusic quoted Madonna, "But he seems to be angry. I seem to have become a target. It's not very gentlemanly or gracious," she added.

Madonna fans all over the world keep their fingers crossed in an anticipation of the official announcement of the new Madonna Tour 2006. The superstar has recently confirmed the rumours about her intention to take her recent ‘Confessions’ album on the road. This time the singer hopes to do smaller and bigger venues to be able to have more interaction with fans.

Creative director Jamie King says, "A typical Madonna show is quite produced. She likes things large, she likes things theatrical. But this time, being that (Confessions on a Dance Floor) is an intimate album, we want to try to make people have an intimate experience as well as a big produced theatrical experience. So look for us doing some small venues, some smaller venues. I would like to put her as close to her people - her fans, her dancers, her fellow supporters - as possible."

Madonna’s tour is rumoured to start in Los Angeles on Sunday 21 May, and she will also play dates in Russia , the Czech Republic.
