Russian relic to return home

A golden diadem made by courtiers of the Romanov family and presented to Pushkin's granddaughter Sofia Merenberg by her beloved fiance Mikhail Romanov, will be delivered to Russia, probably to stay in the country for good.

Currently, marquise Sara Milford-Haven who lives in London is a proud owner of the relic. She decided to say farewell to the magnificent piece of artwork. However, she does not intend to sell it as an ordinary jewelry piece. Her friend-entrepreneur Artem Tarasov advised the marquise to postpone the final move. He left a deposit (consisting partially of his personal possessions) for the crown.

Leading Russian experts are planned to thoroughly examine the piece. Marquise Milford-Haven agreed to sell the relic for a price determined by the Russian specialists. Tarasov in turn expects to obtain some more financial resources in Russia in order to acquire the diadem. He intends to ask the country's government officials and businessmen for financial support. In case his plans will come true, Tarasov will donate the diadem to one of the Russian museums.
