Tatu Banned in Israel

The show has been canceled because of visa problems

Notorious Russian pop duo Tatu will not perform in Israel. The duo's tour in Israel has been canceled for two reasons: problems with visas and ticket sales. However, two Russian girls are rather popular in Israel. Their hit-single All The Things She Said was nominated as the best foreign performance on Israeli two most popular radio stations in 2002.

Spokespeople for the Interior Ministry referred to the fact that the concert management agency Isabella Art Production had not sent an inquiry to issue visas for Tatu's concert team. All foreign artists that are going to perform in Israel are supposed to have visas. Officials rejected any pressure on the part of utra-religious groups.
