PRAVDA.Ru
has already reported that Russian tennis star Anna Kournikova married popular singer Enrique Iglesias last week. The newly wedded couple tried to avoid publicity about the marriage. The ceremony took place in Casa de Campo.

The Spanish newspaper El Pais reports that the stars’ ceremony was held almost in a confidential atmosphere with a small number of guests on one of the Caribbean Islands. Kournikova and Iglesias arrived from Miami, where each has a private house. The newspaper wrote that the newly married pair kept their intention to marry a secret because of turmoil over their relationship, which is why the marriage of Iglesias and Kournikova was so conspiratorial. The father of the groom, Julio Iglesias, shares the opinion voiced by the newspaper. He also missed the ceremony.

The romance between the 21-year-old tennis star and the popular singer started in February 2002. Since that time, the world press has never ceased devoting attention to the pair. Enrique and Anna were seen together several times over the past several months. NEWSRu.com reports that the fortune of each is several millions of dollars.

Anna got married for the second time. A couple of years ago, she was married to Russia's player in the National Hockey League, Sergey Fyodorov. The marriage lasted just for a few months.

Sergey Fyodorov said in an interview with the Detroit Free Press that, now, "he likes living without Anna". He says he now wants to be with a girl who will love the man named Sergey Fyodorov, not the hockey star or the trademark. He says Kournikova was completely different.
