Most Unimaginable Forms of -Philias and -Isms of Which You Never Knew Before

Love can take many freaky forms. It’s one thing when a man and a woman are passionately in love. It’s quite natural and complies with the Biblical commandments. We are also used to same-sex couples that are completely legit in some countries. But what are we supposed to think of those who write love poems to women’s shoes, balloons or a birch tree? It turns out that there is a special classification for these freaks of nature.

Psychologists believe that sexual symbols are formed as early as the infant stage. It’s nice if the first sexual symbol enters a baby-boy’s head when he sees a baby-girl in the next crib. But what if the first symbol appears at the least appropriate moment?

It seems that those who like peeping through keyholes of women’s changing rooms have it easy. It could have been much worse than that.

Electrophilia

In the times of Argentinean dictatorship, Pinochet’s secret executioners used horrible torture devices, electrodes attached to genitals. If a victim refused to speak, the executioners would run electric power through the device. Electrophiles would enjoy the experience. At least they wouldn’t have to pay for similar devices produced specifically for them in the US by Eclectic Electric.

Retifism

If someone collects female shoes and spends his entire time kissing, licking and hugging them, this condition is called retifism, or shoe fetish.

Anaclitism

Anaclitism is a fetish for objects used by infants. There are groups of adult people who enjoy wearing diapers. They also like when others change their diapers, put talc on their butts, feed them with baby formula and put them to sleep in cribs. All this infant mischief doesn’t prevent the “babies” from having sex. These people can be found of the website “Friends in Diapers.”

Transvestophilia

Not to be confused with homosexuality. Most transvestites love women, so much in fact that they are ready to wear women’s clothes 24/7. For example, Kerry Halloween, an American who has been married for 20 years and has four kids, is no longer satisfied with tights and evening gowns. He ordered a special latex costume that reflects every curve of female body.

Balloonism

Love for air balloons. Perhaps someone didn’t buy a kid a balloon despite of the kid’s demands. And the kid developed a lifetime attraction for the forbidden fruit.

Here’s the description provided by Iogann E., a volunteer patient of a Vienna Mental Health Center: “I undress and let the balloons touch my body, electrifying my every hair. Then I experience a release of sexual tension.” Interestingly enough, balloonism is not that rare. The website offers multiple air balloons of various shapes, for example, woman’s breasts.

Macrophilia

Macrophilia is a form of masochism. It involves a desire of being dominated by giants, for example, being stomped on.

Merintophilia

When making mummies, Egyptians waited for a person to die. Today’s enthusiasts are ready to be bandaged alive. Merintophilia is an extreme form of bondage fetish (sexual arousal from being tied up and helpless). Merintophiles enjoy being wrapped in layers of elastic bandages and scotch tape with only a small hole left for breathing.

Fracturephilia

Fetish for women packed in orthopedic corsets, bandages and limb extension devices. The favorite book of every fracturephil is Romain Slocombe’s “City of the Broken Dolls,”1997. The book contains multiple photographs of naked Japanese girls packed in various orthopedic bandages.

Macrogynophilia

Macrogynophilia is a f etish for giant women who are over 6 feet tall and wear size 12 shoes. There aren’t that many of these women, so when they do appear, they get no peace from macrogynophiliacs. For example, Queen Andreena, America’s wrestling champion (6.2 feet, 310 pounds) on a daily basis receives 40 to 50 letters from those in love with her. “Many men are sexually suppressed by the image of their mother,” says Gloria Brame, a psychologist. “There is nothing pathological here. For some of these men a “mother” in a woman is reflected in height and mass. It brings them to the time of their life when their mothers seemed to be beautiful giants.”

Pygmalionism

Pygmalionists enjoy playing with dolls. They think that dolls are better than women because a) they don’t require special care 2) they always do what you want them to do 3) they are made of soft silicone and rubber. Sex-dolls are usually ugly, but who cares? Abyss Creations Company made a step towards pygmalionists and made a RealDoll – Miss Perfection. This doll looks like a top model and has a body that’s hard to tell from a human one. Besides, the doll doesn’t move, doesn’t speak and doesn’t flirt with pizza delivery guys. The price of the doll is $5,000, and Abyss Creations don’t suffer from lack of clients.

Agalmatophilia

People who suffer from this syndrome fantasize about sculptures and monuments. Stone bodies arouse them much more than live women do.

Morphophilia

Sexologists are convinced that at least 10 to 15% of all men are morphophiliacs, i.e. admirers of very fat women. They think that most men don’t like “perfect” women with narrow waists, protruding hip bones and ribs – the products of influence of television, movies, and fashion magazines.

Fullness and fatness were always considered sexually attractive (if a lady eats well, she can feed her kids – time to breed!)

For representatives of primitive cultures a fat woman is a gift. In some areas of Africa and Middle East, any nutritionist or stylist would be subjected to public beating.

Dendrophilia

A fetish for trees. “These people enjoy rubbing their naked genitalia against tree bark. It’s obviously a reminiscence of Druid traditions,” says Robert Graves, an ethnographer.

Stuffed Animals Fetish

These patients shouldn’t have slept with teddy bears when they were kids. Their childish attachment evolved into a strong fetish. Now the sex-industry exploits these people’s feelings by selling stuffed vaginas and bunny rabbits with special silicone pockets under their bellies.

Pseudo-zoophilia

Some parents think that there is nothing better for kids than a visit to a zoo where they can observe the animals or ride ponies. Although 99.9% of kids successfully survive the zoo experience, 0.01% comes back as pseudo-zoophiles. This is caused by the animals’ public expression of sexual behavior. The kids observe the animals, experience arousal, and 20 years later have to deal with the consequences. They don’t end up sexually harassing hippopotamuses and giraffes, but strongly prefer sex while dressed up as a squirrel or a bunny rabbit.
