Former world's best job contestant Julia Yalovitsyna says she is not a frigid cow

Julia Yalovitsyna of Russia became world-famous in an instant. At first she was a “positive celebrity” when she made it in the short list of contestants running for the best job in the world as a caretaker of an Australian island. Everyone hoped that she would win the contest.

Just a week later Julia Yalovitsyna appeared on the Internet absolutely naked playing with herself. She was acting in the video like a porn star, which immediately changed her status to a “negative celebrity.”

Julia gave an interview to Russia’s Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, in which she said that she did the video with her husband for their private home archive.

“The video was not meant to be public. It was a part of my private life, it shows healthy sexuality. I do not understand why a person holding a diploma with honors is supposed to be a frigid cow,” Julia said.

Julia also said that the video was kept in her home PC, which the police withdrew. Julia’s husband, Aleksey Yalovitsyn, is suspected of creating an online brothel: he reportedly made a porn site, where naked models were satisfying foreign clients in live cam chat rooms.

Julia Yalovitsyna lost her chance to win the best job in the world, but she promised to travel to Australia anyway. She is currently staying in the land that they call Down Under exploring the ocean.

Correspondents of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper managed to contact Julia Yalovitsyna in Australia.

“I have this weird feeling as if I am having déjà vu. I was so eager to get to Australia, but I do not feel happy while I am here now. This is a wonderful country, it strikes imagination. I didn’t expect that this country would bring so many pleasant surprises for me. I am now working on a video material for our tourist project. But how can I think of anything else at the time when my best friend is in jail for absolutely no reason?” Julia said.

“The things that the law-enforcement agencies of Karelia [Julia’s native republic] are doing can be described as lawlessness. Prosecutors invited me to their office in connection with that home video. One of the officers said that they knew the person, who posted the video on the Internet, but they could not tell me that person’s name.

“The investigation is very slow. I found out that police officers started visiting witnesses on the case again. Why do they put pressure on people if the case was submitted to court? As far as I know, the witnesses did not testify to prove my husband’s involvement in the production of pornography. Independent experts said that the materials, which laid the basis of the case, were not to be regarded as pornographic. The most astonishing thing is that there is a porn case, whereas the Russian law does not have a definition of pornography. If I ask the judge to define pornography, I am sure that she will not be able to answer the question. I have to say that one can purchase sophisticated adult films in the court building.

“I am not asking for acquittal. I just want to have my rights observed. All that I want is to work normally and live quietly,” Julia Yalovitsyna said.
