Russian Companies Set up Enterprises in Belarussian Free Economic Zone Vitebsk

Five Russian companies have announced their readiness to set up enterprises to produce electric appliances and meat semi-finished products in the Belarussian free economic zone, Vitebsk.

The investment package is estimated at approximately 2.5 million dollars, the Belarussian Embassy to Moscow reported.

Russian businessmen got interested in the project for the goods produced in the zone are not subject for customs tariffs in Russia, while the benefits offered for the zone's residents allow reducing the cost of the goods as compared with the goods produced outside it.
