Rosoboronexport awarded with Greek show organizing committee's prize

Maria Dimitropoulou, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 12th international show of armaments and military hardware "Defendory International-2002", held in Athens, attended Saturday, on the day of its closure, the Russian exposition. She handed in a special memorable badge to Russia's federal unitary enterprise Rosoboronexport, engaged in armaments exports, for the successful organization and impressive publicity of the specimens presented.

The high-ranking guest particularly thanked Rosoboronexport representatives for "an immense pleasure the folklore band of Kuban Cossacks 'Kumovya' gave to the visitors and organizers of the show." Nikolai Dimidyuk, Rosoboronexport's Director-at-Large, told RIA Novosti that the exposition was visited by 25 official delegations, including those of Greece and Cyprus, headed by the countries' defense ministers. Delegations from France, Algeria, Argentine, Australia, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea etc., headed by defense ministers, General Staff chiefs or other officials attended the show as well.
