Saudi princes decided to choke Israel economically

The diplomatic activity of Saudi Arabia has increased over the recent couple of weeks.  They have recently said no to the USA as the answer to the operation in Iraq. Today Saudi Arabia is dealing with America’s Mideast ally, Israel.

The Saudi government published a black list last month. The list included 190 Arab and Western countries, which imported or resold the goods of the Israeli origin. The Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf  advised that customs officers would carefully inspect all imported freight in order to prevent from the delivery of the “banned goods” (i.e. Zionist goods).

Saudi banks received an instruction from the Finance Ministry of the country to thoroughly examine all accounts and invoices in order to avoid any goods from Israel. All those actions of Saudi Arabia against Israel are of the explicit political character.

By the way, the “banned goods” include medicines. Saudi Healthcare Minister Osama bin Abdul Majeed Shobkshi claimed that his department would deal with the detailed examination of the medicines, a lot of which could be marked as “made in Israel.” Pursuant to the strict boycott, a true Saudi citizen must prefer death to a Jewish pill.
