The war is far from over

Speaking to the Senate Intelligence Committee, CIA Director Porter Goss said the al-Qaida terrorist group is still looking for ways to evade new security enhancements made since September 11, 2001 and attack the United States.

"It may be only a matter of time before al-Qaida or other groups attempt to use chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons. We must focus on that," Goss said.

Since it is only a matter of time before al Qaida strikes again, I think the Bush administration should focus on how our intelligence agencies extract information from terrorists captured around the world.

Unlike liberals, I do not think we should be emotional and worry about prisoner’s human rights during interrogations and incarceration.  Like I have written in the past:  terrorists are animals and have no human rights.  We should extract information from them with every method available.

Even knowing the threat of possible nuclear or biological attacks on the United States and knowing that information extracted from the prisoners might save American lives, liberals and appeasers in America are still complaining about the treatment of terrorist prisoners in Iraq and the prison facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Human Rights Watch, in this year's world survey, criticized the US government for its record of torture and mistreatment of prisoners in Iraq and Afghanistan.  It called on the “prosecution of high-level officials in the Bush administration” responsible for the abuse.  I'm sure President Bush is shaking in his cowboy boots worried about the Human Rights Watch report.

Liberals and the mainstream media do not seem to worry about Porter Goss's warning of future terrorist attacks.  Instead, they continue to whine about terrorist’s human rights.  I guess in their strange twisted liberal logic the death of one million Americans in a nuclear blast in New York City or Chicago is worth the protection of one terrorist thug captured in Iraq.

Case in point:  Terrorist Manadel al-Jamadi.

Manadel al-Jamadi was a terrorist captured by US Navy SEALS in Iraq and turned over to the CIA for interrogation.  He later died during interrogation in Abu Ghraib prison after being held in a position known as a “Palestinian Hanging”.

“Palestinian Hanging” is a proven technique used to extract information from prisoners.  In this type interrogation a prisoner is suspended by his wrists with his hands cuffed behind his back.  Yes, it is painful to the prisoner.  And no it is not pretty.  But it is a very useful interrogation technique
In fact the technique is so effective in breaking the will of prisoners I think every captured terrorist who might be withholding valuable intelligence should be subjected to this type treatment.  I will not lose any sleep knowing a terrorist is in pain, as long as he is giving up valuable intelligence.
Remember the threat of nuclear attacks to the United States?
Of course the liberals and the mainstream media are against this kind of treatment to prisoners.  I guess the liberals “Holier Than Thou” attitudes force them to worry about the human rights of Islamic terrorists and not worry about the safety of Americans.

A simple Google search on Manadel al-Jamadi will find hundreds of news articles describing his “horrible” death at the hands of the CIA and Navy SEALS.  Not one article, that I have read, mentions how many American lives may have been saved from the information obtained during his interrogation.
Nor have I read any article about how many prisoners lived after being subjected to a “Palestinian Hanging”.  My guess is everyone except al-Jamadi or the liberals would be complaining about them as well.

This type of blatantly biased reporting from the liberal media makes the Islamic terrorists look like the victims and our military look like cold-blooded killers.  The media’s biased message really sends a good impression of the United States to people around the world.

I think it is time that liberals start concentrating on the evil we are facing around the world and stop trying to cause controversy for the Bush administration.  The election is over.  Remember?

Being a logical thinking conservative I also have to wonder:  How do liberals suggest the CIA extract information from terrorist prisoners if we need to protect their human rights?  Force them to have dinner with Michael Moore and have a sleep over in Michael Jackson's bedroom?

No wait.  Forcing them to do that would really violate their human rights.  I would not wish that on my worst enemy.  Not even a liberal.

It really drives me crazy to know that liberals cannot understand that we are at war with terrorists who want to kill our children.  We cannot play by the Kingsbury rules if our enemy is ghetto fighting with nuclear weapons.

We need to play dirty.  Why are liberals so thickheaded and stubborn about this?
