Serbian man: Russia did not protect us

I'm a Serb and I ask why didn't Russia, the country that we Serbs love more then ourselves, say anything while NATO (USA) bombed Serbia, day and night, destroying my country and killing innocent people???
Maybe NATO turned a blind eye on Chechnya so both Russia and NATO could bomb something without critisizing each other.
