Gary Black: Response to "We know now that the U.S. must win this fight" (by Blanca Gutierrez)

Blanca is going down a dangerous path when he says, "Too bad our left wing liberals choose to be traitors to the USA."
 
All people need to be careful that in the name of patriotism we do not silence voices of decent.  The media and all Americans have a right to know what is happening, good and bad in Iraq, and criticisms of wrong actions is not unpatriotic, it is the highest form of patriotism one can engage in a free and open democracy.  Blanca sounds like a famous voice from the past, Herman Goering.

I have long-ago became convinced that this war is a mistake, it is not about terrorism, not about wmd.  Bush may have been trying to "do good" by force, but that is not a good motive for war. You can not "force feed" democracy to people.  Power-lust and stupidity are also not good motives for continuing this conflict.
