US firmly in control

280 civilians murdered and Mosque precision bombed, USA in control.
The United States of America defends its precision-bombing of a packed Mosque and claims that it retains firm control in Iraq, a country spiraling ever downwards into wholesale chaos. More of Washington's lies.

The director of Fallujah Hospital has declared to the press today that at least 280 Iraqis have been killed by US troops since they began their murderous onslaught on this city after four US citizens were killed last week. Added to at least 30 coalition troops killed in the fighting, a death toll of over 300 would paint a picture of total chaos.

However, General Richard Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, describes the situation as "under control", claiming that those responsible are "a few" gangs of thugs and terrorists.

Iraq would become the only country in the world where a "few" thugs was translated into thousands of heavily-armed civilians fighting the invader with a venom never before seen in the country. The United States of America, in its superior management of the situation it created with its illegal and murderous war against Iraq and its people (how else to justify the deployment of cluster bombs in civilian areas), has managed to unite Sunni and Shia militants.

A regime which can defend the precision-bombing of a packed Mosque, which is what the Pentagon did yesterday, unfortunately creates no surprises. Iraq is out of control, Iraq is in chaos, Iraq is the worst foreign policy mistake ever committed by a US President since Vietnam. Iraq is George W. Bush's political grave and that of his evil, murderous regime.
