China has agreed to end a five-year ban on imports of British live pigs and pig products, the British government said Thursday.
The two governments have agreed on a system to certify that British exports are free of swine fever, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said.
It said the last case of classical swine fever in Britain was in November 2000, reports the AP.
