At its session in Moscow on November 20th the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) will discuss, among other things, the measures to prevent the possibility of penetrating terrorist elements into the territories of the Community member-states. As RIA Novosti correspondent was explained on Monday in the Integration Committee, a working body of the EurAsEC, this question is urgent because potential terrorists can make use of the visa-free regime existing between the Community's members - Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia and Tajikistan. These preventive measures will in no way infringe upon the interests of the citizens permanently living in the Community's countries. More than twenty items will be on the agenda of the Integration Committee's session which is held on the level of the Vice Prime Ministers of the EurAsEC countries. They are - the draft plan for making a complex analysis of the state of affairs at the outer borders of the Community; the problems of economic cooperation; the implementation of the articles of the treaty on establishing the EurAsEC of October 10th, 2000. The session will also consider the draft agreement on customs and tax control over the production, sale and movement of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic, alcohol-content and tobacco products; the draft agreement on exchanging information between the tax and customs bodies; and so on.
