Anatoly Kvashnin, the Head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, heads for Brussels on Tuesday to participate in a one-day meeting of the Russia-NATO Joint Permanent Military Committee at the chief of staff level. They will focus on the condition and prospects for Russia's relations with NATO, the Russian Defence Ministry told RIA Novosti. They will also discuss the development of collaboration in combating international terrorism, the consolidation of the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and peace-keeping operations in the Balkans.
