Representatives of the NATO mission, as well as observers from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the European Union will be present on Wednesday at the exhumation of a mass burial in the north-west of the country, planned by the authorities. As a RIA Novosti correspondent reports, representative of the NATO forces in Macedonia Major Craig Ratcliff said this on Tuesday. It is expected that chief prosecutor of the International Tribunal for former Yugoslavia Carla del Ponte who has arrived in Skopje will give her consent to the exhumation. The local authorities suppose that civilians, captured by the Albanian militants during the armed conflict, are buried near the villages of Neprosteno and Trebos in the environs of Tetovo town. The Macedonian secret services and police have been guarding this area for a few days.
