U.s. State Secretary: Washington Has To Draw Attention To Terrorist Organisations, Supporting Regimes

American Secretary of State Colin Powell said that, as the operation in Afghanistan goes on, Washington is going to draw attention to terrorist organisations and supporting regimes in possession of weapons of mass destruction. The RIA Novosti quotes Colin Powell as saying, after a meeting with the Russian president, that American President George W.Bush has not yet taken a decision on what is to be the goal of a next phase of the antiterrorist operation. Powell recalled that the first stage of the antiterrorist operation is directed against international terrorist Osama bin Laden, the terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda, Taliban. The American state secretary admitted that some problems can be resolved diplomatically and some, regrettably, only by soldiers often at the cost of their life.
