Russian border-guards have passed 802 trucks with 2,785 tons of flavour and 1,261 tons of grain to Afghanistan's northern areas through the Ishkamim checkpoint on the Tajik-Afghan border within the framework of the UN food programme. The ministries of emergency situations of Russia, Tajikistan, and Kirghizia have been in charge for the cargos delivery, said Russian Border Service officials in Tajikistan. According to estimations by the UN World Food Programme, Afghanis are used to eating wheaten flavour scones. That is why wheat makes up 90% of all food delivered to Afghanistan.
