On Wednesday Russian and US experts will hold Moscow consultations on the Iraq-related issues, the press service of the US embassy to Moscow reported on Tuesday. US Assistant Secretary of State John Wolf will arrive in Moscow on Tuesday afternoon to attend the consultations. Russo-American consultations on Iraqi issues at the level of foreign ministers are held regularly within the framework of the UN Security Council, the embassy's press service stressed. At the coming consultations the sides will discuss the situation around Iraq taking into consideration resolution 1382 of the UN Security Council adopted in late November. The resolution prolonged the mandate of the UN humanitarian programme for Iraq Oil for Food for another six months till May 30, 2002, US diplomats stated. According to RIA Novosti, the deputy foreign minister of Russia, Alexander Saltanov, will head the Russian side at the coming consultations.
