Russia and China have discussed bilateral steps in the wake of the US withdrawal from the ABM Treaty. Consultations on the issue took place in Moscow on Tuesday at the level of deputy foreign ministers. Informed sources in the Russian capital reported that the sides had considered, in particular, prospects for partnership cooperation in the military-technical sphere in the new situation. Russia and China expressed deep concern over the consequences the US decision might have for the world. Moscow and Beijing agreed to carefully approach this situation and adhere to coordinated policy, the sources told RIA Novosti.
