Russia's First Lady Visits Shanghai Beauty Spots

SLyudmilla, President Vladimir Putin's wife, is accompanying him on a current summit of the Asian and Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. She devoted this day to sightseeing in Shanghai, summit venue. Mrs. Putin visited the Zhujiangjiao, one of China's best-known water-towns, founded 1,700 years ago, and made a trip along its winding streets and lanes. The First Lady's tour went on in the Kezhiyuan park, also known as the Ma Family Garden, which was planted by wealthy merchant Ma Wengqing early in the 20th century. Lyudmilla Putin also visited the Rice Museum and an old pharmacy.
