The Russian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Konstantin Orbelyan starts its 45th season with a concert in the Moscow Conservatory's Great Hall on October 29. The world renowned singer Olga Guryakova (soprano) will sing with the orchestra. Guryakova graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and is currently a soloist at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow. She won first prize at the international Rimsky-Korsakov competition, the Golden Mask national theatre prize, and the Casta Diva prize of theatre critics. The October 29th concert's programme includes works by Puccini, Mozart, Gounod, and Verdi.
