A man died in Kamchatka, a peninsula in the northeast of the Asian part of Russia, after being attacked by a brown bear, reported the press service of the Interior Office of the Kamchatka region.
The 35-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in the district center of Ust-Bolsheretsk with multiple wounds caused by a bear, who had apparently attacked the man in a forest tract 50 kilometers away from the district center.
The man died of haemorrhage and internal injuries without regaining consciousness, becoming the second victim of a bear attack in Kamchatka since May.
Measures are being taken to track down the murderous animal.
