On Sunday, four teenagers from Kamchatka were rescued from the wreck of a semi-submerged ship. At 12:56 local time on Sunday, an officer on duty at the Chief Department of Civil Defence and Emergency Situations received a call about four teenagers having been stuck on the semi-submerged wreck of the Anatoly Serov in Babya Bay. The Kamchatka rescue-and-search station immediately dispatched a rescue team to the sunken ship. Arriving on the spot at 13:36, rescuers found four kids aged between 13 and 17, who had reached the wreck on a makeshift raft made of empty barrels. However, wind had carried off the raft as soon as they had boarded the wreck. The teenagers were safely delivered to the shore.
