Russian President Vladimir Putin has deemed it necessary to upgrade quality of the Russia-exported military hardware and subsequent maintenance. There has not been done enough to improve it, the president said at a conference held in Kremlin on the agenda dominated by military-technological cooperation issues. President Putin demanded the cabinet focus its attention on the quality of military equipment and of contacts with foreign partners, as well as on issues of a "specific nature related to maintenance, timely supplies of spare parts and so on". Russia's partners must be satisfied with both the quality of the Russian-made hardware and a modern-level servicing, said Vladimir Putin. Military partnership is a crucial aspect of Russia's interaction with other countries which has acquired greater significance in the wake of "large-scale terrorist acts" and the global anti-terrorist effort.
