Vladimir Putin has not ruled the possibility that he will again appear on live television to talk to the public. When answering a question put to him by a resident of the Moscow region, Mr. Putin said that he would try to make sure that his appearance on state television today for a question and answer session would not be a one-off. According to him, the head of state is obliged to talk to the country, listen to his people. The president stressed that there should be a "feedback" between the authorities and the people. Putin admitted that some people had objected to the form of the meeting during preparations for the live broadcast. Indeed, he said, there had never been anything of the kind before. However, Putin said that, taking into consideration the demand for dialogue, the form was acceptable. Putin said that the session was as important for him as it was for those putting the questions. The head of state said that this allowed him to feel what was happening and about what people were worrying. The president thanked everyone who had sent in questions. Vladimir Putin said that this created a good sociological basis, which would be 100% worked out and transformed into practical action.
