Russia's Currency Receipts From Military Hardware Exports

The volume of currency receipts from the export of Russian military equipment and technologies stood at 4.4 billion dollars last year. The figure was cited by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a sitting of the Security Council in the Kremlin. Russia cooperates in the military-technical sphere with 60 countries. Only two or three of them are its main partners, observed Putin. The president stressed that Russia occupies a leading place on the world market of armaments. In recent years the export of military machines and technologies has been increasing. Putin noted that work on the arms markets "is facing problems".
