The 2nd Ice Fantasy international ice sculpture competition began in Khabarovsk yesterday to continue through January 24. The competition is organised by the government of the Khabarovsk Territory and the Ice Fantasy territorial creative foundation.
According to the press service of the territorial government, the participants of the competition include 16 teams from Yakutia, the Sakhalin, Kamchatka, and Jewish Autonomous Regions, China, and Japan. Ice artists have 3 days to complete their works. The final judgment and awards ceremony will take place on January 24.
Last year's Ice Fantasy competition in Khabarovsk was also attended by 16 teams. Chinese ice sculptors were the winners. Yakutia and Khabarovsk teams were the runner-ups.
