On April 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a televised Q&A conference. Most questions are related to issues of public utilities, corruption, roads and socio-economic guarantees.
The leader of Valdai discussion club, Andrei Bystritsky, asked the following question: "It appears that we are living inside a hostile ring - Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Turkey ... Can we develop in such conditions?"
"We are not in a hostile ring. We maintain friendly relations with most countries. We have good relations with the Turkish people, although there are some problems with Turkish politicians," said Putin, adding that he will not let anyone walk over Russia.
A 12-year-old girl, Varvara Kuznetsova, asked Putin the following question: "If Poroshenko and Erdogan were drowning at the same time, whom would you save first?"
"If someone wants to drown, save them is impossible. Yet, we are ready to reach out a helping hand, if they want," Putin answered.
Putin's previous Q&A session with Russian citizens took place on April 16, 2015. President Putin answered 74 questions in 3 hours 57 minutes.
